The Philip Read Memorial Library Special Collections aims to collect and preserve materials related to the history, notable persons, and governance of the town of Plainfield and the Cornish Colony (1885-1925) through printed materials, genealogies, ephemera, and town publications.
The collection is non-circulating and may be used within the library anytime during open hours.
The collection is currently being organized and will eventually be cataloged digitally.
