FLOWER POT LUCK
The Friends of Philip Read Memorial Library are holding a free FLOWER POT LUCK on Tuesday August 19, 2025 at 6:00pm at the Philip Read Memorial Library.
At this free pot luck you will create a flower arrangement to adorn your home.
Bring some flowers to share with others and a vase or other container (that will hold water) to create your arrangement in.

Harry Bliss is a nationally syndicated cartoonist and New York Times bestselling illustrator based in New Hampshire. Known for his signature single-panel cartoons in The New Yorker, Bliss has also illustrated dozens of beloved children’s books and co-authored several works with humorist Steve Martin. His witty, insightful artwork blends sharp humor with heart, making him a standout voice in both adult and children’s literature.
Tuesdays 10-11 am at PRML
Parents (and legal guardians, grandparents, or caregivers) and kids (babies up to school age) are welcome to drop in for this play group, held each week on Tuesdays from 10-11 AM. This parent-organized program provides an opportunity for young children to socialize and play with others and gives parents and guardians the opportunity to meet and connect with each other.
The program is open to all ages, with activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Parents and caregivers are asked to pack a snack for their kids.

Chance to be creative! Come paint a bottle and then put in lights and have a fun decorative piece to take home with you! It is relaxing to do and can be done for different seasons, a special occasion or anything else you can think of or sparks your interest.
