Artist Reception: The Color of Feeling
An Art Exhibit by Pat Crockett (Claremont, NH)

Join us at Philip Read Memorial Library for a special artist reception celebrating The Color of Feeling on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 4:00–6:00 PM.

Pat Crockett’s work explores the expressive possibilities of acrylic printmaking, blending traditional techniques with unexpected tools—tinfoil, balloons, even a windshield wiper—to create richly layered, emotionally resonant pieces. Color, texture, and gesture come together to communicate feeling beyond words.

This reception offers a chance to meet the artist, view the exhibit, and experience the creative process behind this vibrant body of work.

This calming session offers a perfect way to start your week with tranquility and mindfulness.

All are welcome—no prior meditation experience necessary.

Who: Seniors in Plainfield, and Meriden, and their families, caregivers, and friends.
 When: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays – Social Coffee Hours
Come and visit with other local seniors. Bring games, puzzles, or hand crafts like knitting if you like. Coffee provided.

Greenland: People & Place - February 24, from 6pm at PRML

Join us at the Philip Read Memorial Library for an engaging presentation with Greg Smith of Greenland Advocate.

This program offers an introduction to the people, culture, history, and landscape of Greenland, providing context and insight into this remarkable place. The presentation is informational in nature and is designed to familiarize attendees with Greenland itself, rather than providing biased commentary or advocacy related to current political issues.

LEGO Club at the Plainfield Libraries 

Let your imagination run wild at LEGO Club! Join us for a fun, relaxed drop-in program full of creativity, collaboration, and plenty of LEGOS.

• Fourth Saturdays at PRML | 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Build, create, and explore—whether you come with a plan or just see where the bricks take you. All ages are welcome, and no registration is required.
