About the Author
Jordan grew up in rural New Hampshire, traveled the world as a US Marine, and lived in New York’s
Hudson Valley for nearly two decades. He holds a B.S. Electrical Engineering degree from SUNY New
Paltz. He writes from the wilds of the Pacific Northwest, where he, his wife, and their two children
explore by foot, bike, boat and car.
Jordan has been a featured author on KXRW, in the Camas-Washougal Post Record, and podcasts such
as Seven Story Publishing and Libby’s Lounge.

Tom Darby thought he knew his town of Harper, but fresh revelations about its history divide his neighbors. His attempts to quell the tensions fail. As threats lead to violence, he discovers that he’s working against even deeper secrets.

Piper Wells made a mistake. She envisioned a life beyond Harper, and beyond her means, but learns that leaving a simple town is not that simple. Amid the chaos of a splintered community, she seeks help from the one person she can trust.

History and identity clash, and the town may not be strong enough to bear the coming storm. The truth behind the current turmoil and past tragedies could save them both, but Tom and Piper need to survive to reach it.

From the struggles of the Boston Patriots to the decades of Super Bowl crowns, this lively and illuminating program will take you on a roller coaster ride through the history of the franchise that has captured more crowns than any other. Author and veteran sports writer Marty Gitlin, who covered the NFL in the newspaper field and for CBS Sports, will discuss and show videos of the greatest and most interesting players, teams, events and moments of the team since its birth in the American Football League in 1960. Watch the exploits of such early standouts as Gino Cappelletti and Babe Parilli, relive the disappointment of the Jim Plunkett era and talents of Steve Grogan and Sam “Bam” Cunningham. Experience again the transition from Drew Bledsoe to Tom Brady. And enjoy greatest highlights from the Greatest of All Time under Bill Belichick, including Super Bowl triumphs. This presentation is fun and enlightening so don’t miss it! Marty will host a Q&A following the program.

MARK CECIL is host of The Thoughtful Bro show, for which he conducts interviews with an eclectic roster of award-winning and breakout storytellers. Formerly a journalist for Reuters, he is Head of Strategy for literary social media startup A Mighty Blaze and has taught writing at Grub Street in Boston. This is his first book.
