Please come with your device(s) and all necessary passwords. We can take this time to make sure you are set up properly to take advantage of all the library has to offer, or to help you get up and running with your email program, social media, and the like. If we can’t help you, we’ll find an answer or point you in the direction of finding it yourself. We hope you’ll take advantage of this new service. If the time is not right for you, just let us know and we can set up an appointment.
Mindful Mondays are designed for you to start your week with an intentional pause and practice a meditation exercise with your community. All you need to do is show up, turn your phone off, and be!

Scooter is a trained therapy dog who loves to be read to. He will be at Philip Read Memorial Library with his owner, Diane, who has volunteered many hours in hospitals, schools, and libraries.
Ginger Armstrong began studying Japanese Calligraphy over ten years ago in Vermont with a woman from Hokkaido, Japan. Later she moved to Japan, where she furthered her studies with two teachers. Her final teacher, Ooba Sensei, taught in the Chinese tradition and presented calligraphy as an expression of spirit and not just form. He also stressed the carving history of calligraphy which gives it its great strength and movement.
Join Kim as she presents a detailed history of the Meriden Bridge, an overview of the four Cornish bridges, and shares information on the area covered bridges that have been lost to time. Following the program, Kim will be available to sign copies of Covered Bridges of New Hampshire.
