Plainfield Public Libraries
Credit Card Policy
The credit card issued by the Town of Plainfield, NH to the Library Director will be used only for the purchase of goods and services for the official business of the Plainfield Public Libraries.
The Director must reconcile and submit documentation to the Plainfield Town Administrator and the Library Board of Trustees Treasurer detailing the goods or service purchased, cost, and date of purchase on an official business statement within each billing cycle.
Credit card usage is limited to purchases of goods or services. Cash advances are not allowed.
The limit on the credit card is $2,500.00
The director is responsible for the protection of the credit card and will immediately notify the financial institution issuing the card and the Plainfield Town Administrator if the credit card is lost or stolen.
The Plainfield Public Libraries Board of Trustees will take disciplinary action for unauthorized use of the credit card.
The Library Director must immediately surrender the credit card upon leaving the employ of the Plainfield Public Libraries.
