Film Viewing about the Ice Age

The Last Ice is a short documentary by NH science teacher Greg Stott and Vermont filmmaker Nick Natale.  Stott received the Christa McAuliffe Sabbatical Award from the NH Charitable Foundation in 2023.  He used this time to produce this film. The film focuses on the last Ice Age and its effect on the Connecticut River Valley. Scientists investigate our modern landscape for clues about the past climate that enveloped our area. The film also looks at the life of Edward Hitchcock, a geologist and theologian whom the lake is named after.
